Taurus & Leo is so sure of the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery, we offer a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all Taurus & Leo Evercast products. This warranty only applies to items manufactured by Taurus & Leo and found in the Evercast collection. This warranty does not apply to any items not specifically identified as being an exclusive Taurus & Leo manufactured Evercast item.
If you experience damage to your Evercast purchase from Taurus & Leo due to the manufacturing, please contact us to begin the warranty claim process. Shipment of your item back to Taurus & Leo is the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive your item and are able to evaluate and determine if the damage is from manufacturing, we will refund your shipping costs up to a maximum of $70 CAD, repair the item free of charge and ship the item back to you free of charge. If the damage is determined not to be caused by manufacturing and not covered by our warranty, Taurus & Leo will determine the necessary repair work and offer to repair the item for the proposed repair fees, and ship the item back to you free of charge. If the customer chooses not to proceed with paying Taurus & Leo to make the repairs, we will ship the item back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
If a warranty issue is found, Taurus & Leo will repair the warrantied damage or replace the item without charge.
Repair or service performed by someone other than Taurus & Leo will void the warranty.
Our manufacturing warranty does not apply to wear and tear, trauma, loss of gemstones, product loss or theft. Since hands are actively used, rings are especially subject to wear and tear and trauma from daily pressure. Our warranty does not cover any damage or loss caused by a failure to obtain repairs required to preserve the integrity of the item.
Examples of common issues and wear and tear not considered manufacturing defects include:
- Discoloration of precious metals caused by make-up, chemicals, immersion in pool water, hot tubs or from bathing.
- Precious metals and prongs wear down over time. Restoration work may be required as part of normal wear.
- Prongs can catch, bend or wear out over time allowing a gemstone to fall out.
- Loss of a gemstone caused by everyday wear or other damage.
We recommend that you maintain independent insurance coverage for your fine jewellery to help protect against loss, theft or significant damage.
